In the year 1736, the first Geodesic mission visited what was then a Spanish colony, to check the shape of the earth. Scientists did their best to make the correct measurements. Today Half of the World is a tourist site in the city of Quito. Several locations have been opened to explain the impressive history that surrounds this magical place.

Visit to the monument of the middle of the World.
Visit to the Intiñan museum, with a local guide.
We will visit the Pululahua crater, one of the volcanoes with people living there.
