The Cotopaxi volcano is an active volcano since 2015, considered one of the highest in the world, with a height of 5,897 meters above sea level. It is called taita Cotopaxi, still considered a sacred mountain for the people who live near the volcano.
ITINERARY
We pick up passengers from their meeting point.
We head to Cotopaxi National Park.
We will walk to the José Rivas refuge 4800 meters above sea level.
We return to transport
We take bicycles and safety equipment to descend to the lImpiopungo lagoon.
We will head to the restaurant for lunch.
Return to Quito.
